On January 01, 2006, David, Kevin, and David flew to Ethiopia and spent three weeks travelling the historic route, taking in Addis Ababa, Axum, Harar, Gonder, and spending Orthodox Christmas(Leddet) in Lalibela, home to Ethiopia's rock-hewn churches. Along the way they met the people, listened to their stories and shared many meals.

Now home, their adventures, stories, and photographs will be knit together with David Robertson's Ethiopian-inspired recipes and the result will be the first in the Tribal Cookbook series.
